Since 1981, Texas-native Patsy Oakley of RE/MAX Preferred has been involved with San Antonio real estate as a REALTOR®, an active member of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®, and the Texas Association of REALTORS®.
Patsy has proudly served on the SABOR Board of Directors since 2006. She also serves on the SABOR Realtor/Builder Committee and Communications Committee. Additionally, Patsy is a member of both the Texas Association of Realtors’ Professional Standards and Member Benefits committees. She is also the Chairperson for the Alamo Area South Texas CRS “Chapter With A Heart” campaign fundraiser.
As a professional licensed REALTOR®, Patsy is a consistent top producer and heads up TEAM OAKLEY, recognized as one of the top real estate teams in the city. Her team includes her husband and business partner, Ron Sowell, and her daughter Amy Oakley, marketing coordinator and virtual assistant. For more than 28 years, Patsy has helped her clients with their real estate buying, selling and investment goals. She has earned a reputation as honest, fair, dependable and Texas-friendly.
Patsy’s impressive lists of achievement include: 2006 RE/MAX International Lifetime Achievement Award; 2005 graduate of the inaugural Texas REALTOR® Leadership Program (TRLP); serving multiple terms as President of the Alamo Area South Texas CRS Chapter; former Chair of the SABOR Grievance Committee; two-time recipient of the RE/MAX of Texas “Legion of Merit” award; 2000 Hall of Fame award, and the 2004 Platinum Top 50 Career Achievement Award recipient.
Outside of her busy real estate life, Patsy devotes her time to her family and to her community. She is especially proud of being a Grandma to her two grandchildren, Abby and Brady. Patsy is very active in her church, Shearer Hills Baptist, where she serves on several committees and is a long-time member of the choir. Patsy is a benefactor to the Children’s Miracle Network, Methodist Children’s Home and numerous charities through her church and various pet-friendly charities.
