In 2015, SABOR opened its Service Center in Selma in an effort to have a permanent location to offer classes and other support to members in this area.
While we consider the effort a success, five years later our lease is ending and we are taking this opportunity to evaluate the most effective way to serve our members, whether through a second location or some other avenue.
In July, the Service Center location will close permanently. The location already closed to comply with the city’s “Stay Home, Work Safe” orders, so it will remain closed until the lease ends next month.
The Board of Directors felt it made the best business sense to re-evaluate what is the most effective use of our dollars and other resources. Technologies have advanced greatly, providing the ability for members to get many of their services virtually.
This change will not interrupt your services, and you will still be able to receive the same qualified assistance from our team at the main location at 9110 IH 10 W. Also, coming in July SABOR will be offering one-on-one video appointments which will allow members to remotely access individual attention and assistance from SABOR.
The Board of Directors will continue to look closely at future opportunities and consider what the best next steps will be.
