Nearly 200 REALTOR® and Affiliate members packed the Briscoe Western Art Museum on October 7 to celebrate the centennial of the REALTOR® brand. The evening featured live music as well as dancing, drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
Attendees donned their best formal wear for the night and enjoyed dining and connecting with friends in the beautiful venue which sported a chandelier and diamond theme. The museum, located on the Riverwalk across from La Villita, provided a perfect backdrop for a night of glamour.
As the night wore on, REALTORS® flocked to the dance floor to show their best moves to the sounds of some popular songs from the 80s and 90s from San Antonio’s favorite cover band, Finding Friday. YPN organized a special cocktail called a “SAMMtennial” to raise funds for SAMMinistries and partygoers enjoyed the bright blue cocktail throughout the evening.
The TREPAC Silent Auction was also a hit, with nearly a dozen items up for bid including Spurs tickets, a 42 inch Samsung TV, Kendra Scott jewelry and an original painting by REALTOR® Richard Alcorta. The evening also featured a photo booth as well as a “100 Years of Distinction” backdrop complete with props where REALTORS® snapped shots to show their REALTOR® pride.
